Dancers will perform in one routine per class they participate in (not including Competition classes). Exceptions may be made when a child takes a large variety of weekly classes, making it difficult to memorize and perform routines confidently. This will be determined at the director’s sole discretion. The Showcase is a celebration of dance, and we look forward to you joining us!
All dancers registered in our Full-term programs agree to participate in our Year-End Showcase. The choreography of these routines will begin in mid-February. The dancers will be charged a package fee to participate in the Showcase. This includes their Stage Rehearsal, media package for the event (live wide angle video & action photography), as well as a commemorative medallion to mark the special occasion & more. This fee is $50.00 per child, will be processed on April 15th, and is non-refundable. Specifics will be included on your Year-End Showcase newsletter.
 Showcase costume fee of $110 per participating class will be charged to your online account. We split this fee into 2 payments: $55.00 processed on October 15th, and the remaining $55.00 processed on February 15th. Showcase costume fees are non-refundable, with no exceptions. *All 60 and fewer minute combo classes require only one costume and dancers who participate in Ballet twice a week only require one Ballet costume.

Our Foundational classes offer young dancers a solid foundation in movement fundamentals, fostering technique, skill development, and artistic understanding. As they progress, dancers develop strong technical skills, often taking multiple classes per week to refine and expand their abilities. Open to children aged 5 and up, we offer instruction in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical/Contemporary, and Acro. Join us as we ignite a passion for dance and build strong foundations for future growth.
Dancers interested in Inter Ballet must also enroll for Inter Jazz and vice versa (no exceptions made). These 2 classes go hand-in-hand in your dancer’s training & complement each other well. Taking these classes together ensures your child is progressing safely within our programs & learning the fundamental basics to achieve the most out of their classes. ALL Inter dancers must have 2 years of previous dance experience.
Ballet is the noblest form of dance and perhaps the most rewarding! Ballet is also the best foundation for any other dance form. We follow the Royal Academy of Dancing Syllabus to introduce proper technique through Barre work, centre floor, across the floor & progressions in a fun & engaging atmosphere.
This high-energy class is one of the most popular & well-known forms of dance. Jazz technique is developed through warm-ups, flexibility, across the floor progressions (kicks, turns, jumps) and centre floor choreography. In a Jazz class, the dancers also learn self-expression & stylized movements.

Dancers must have 1 year prior Acro experience to enroll in this class. This is not a Beginner Level Acro class.
Acro Dance is an ideal combination of dance & gymnastics. This class incorporates the basics of movement/dance with the beginning floor skills of gymnastics, also while developing strength, balance & flexibility. At Dance Arts, we follow the Acrobatics Arts syllabus program which guides the dancer through safe & proper progressions to ensure they get the most out of this class!
Class duration: 45 minutes

Introducing our Presentation Dance classes, designed for children who want to learn dance while having a blast! These classes are all about unleashing creativity, energizing the soul, and getting a great workout while mastering basic technique and skills. It’s a chance to meet new friends and groove with like-minded peers in a fun, supportive environment. Open to dancers aged 5 and up, our classes cover Hip Hop and Fusion(combo classes) styles. No prior dance experience required—just bring your enthusiasm and let’s dance!
Fusion Combo class is a mix of Ballet, Jazz & Contemporary all in one amazing class. It is an artistic style of dance in which dancers express an emotional journey or story through dance. This class includes warm-up, improvisation, floor work & combinations. This class also incorporates the basic elements of Ballet & Jazz all within one class to ensure dancers have the technical skills to safely execute the movements required.
